My garden (A photo heavy post)

I thought I would share with you all my mini farm on a quarter acre.  My veggie patches.  It's not as big as I would like it be and is still definately a work in progress... meaning when I have extra money the garden grows!!

I am really proud of my wee veggie patch and all that it contains, and have really enjoyed eating the fruits of my labour....

My tomatoes that are coming along, these are big red, so hopefully will get quite a bit bigger yet!!

Capsicum, although the plant isn't very big so I am not expecting it to do very good.  It might turn into a chilli instead... could be interesting!!

This is my veggie bath... And it's also the way I managed to keep the chooks out so they can continue to have the whole backyard, and we can continue to have veggies that they don't eat!!

These are my Cauliflower seedlings coming up.

So this is just some of my veggie patch.  I'm loving it!! My hope is to be able to eat only what comes from my land.  As you may have read in previous posts, I'm paranoid of what is in the food that we buy from the supermarkets, and I would like to eat completely naturally.

Sometimes however I start to think that I'm too impatient to be a farmer!!  I want it all now, I want the veggie patches now, I want them to grow and fruit now.  It's a good lesson I guess, a lesson in patience.

Sorry for the boring post this morning, I'm sure I will find something a little more juicy to talk about later.

Today I hope to be able to convince David that we should go to Bunnings, and buy a hot house.... wonder if he will go for it??  Stay tuned.

Love you all
